Team Biden Unwrapped Part 2

If you haven’t seen part 1 yet, here is the link. Team Biden Unwrapped Part 1

Please be advised if you are overly refined there are one or two words which may offend. Apart from Joe Biden that is.

8. Marty Walsh

Secretary of Labor

Catholic, Roman

He speaks Irish. Joe Biden has some Irish roots I understand. This may be why he wanted him on board.

Bachelor of Arts degree in social science

On February 13, 2013, Walsh introduced a bill to have The Modern Lovers song “Roadrunner” be named the official rock song of Massachusetts. The song’s writer, Jonathan Richman, came out against this, saying, “I don’t think the song is good enough to be a Massachusetts song of any kind.”

Now I like good punk rock, and I never knew that this might the first one of its kind and so early in 1972 it seems. But Richman is quite right, and I consider it is not very good. Marty doesn’t have very good musical judgement.

I don’t mind what he listens to in private, but thinking of inflicting this song on Massachusettians, if that is the right word, is rather cruel.

A 2020 state audit of Boston Public Schools found the city to lack any, “clear, coherent, district-wide strategy for supporting low-performing schools.”

So it seems that Marty can’t have any clear strategy either. Perhaps social science degrees (what did he get it in exactly?) are not that good.

After the end of his tenure as mayor, the editorial board of The Boston Globe heavily criticized Walsh’s leadership on education, writing,

“Walsh’s record on public education — the single biggest part of the city’s operating budget and arguably its most important obligation to its residents — was a profound disappointment. He cycled through school superintendents, depriving the system of needed stability. When the schools did attempt reform, like moving high schools to later start times, he folded at the first whiff of opposition. Walsh showed little appetite for tough decisions on education, such as consolidating schools in a system with huge overcapacity or reducing the bloated school transportation budget. By some measures, the schools are worse now than when he took office in 2014”

COVID-19 pandemic – see page

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_pandemic_in_Boston

Now Covid 19 is the ‘flu, the toxicosis of the body, dressed up as a monster. This is made worse by stupid lockdowns and environmental pollution such as excessive cleaning with nasty chemicals. This includes ammonia hydroxide referred to earlier.

So Marty has been rather thick.

Walsh is the first Cabinet secretary to openly be in a twelve-step program for recovery from addiction.

He is obviously struggling as he has been making mistakes. Not an easy thing to deal with. I had a great uncle who I understand had issues with alcohol. One can seek to drown one’s sorrows in it. This is never a good idea.

And perhaps not a good idea to be trying to run a department at Federal level if you are still struggling with it. One needs all the strength one can get without such distractions.

9. Xavier Becerra

Secretary of Health and Human Services

Catholic, Roman

Lawyer

He is essentially of Mexican descent. I gather people find that immigrants can be a mixed bunch, both good and bad. Nothing new there.

His nomination was criticised for

“absence of health care experience and his disregard for people of faith”.

His wife is a physician so at least can ask her about things if she has the time.

Becerra argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit that the Little Sisters of the Poor, a Catholic religious order, should be required to provide birth control services under the Affordable Care Act.

So he, a Roman Catholic, is disregarding the poor little sisters. He is not very kind, is he? No wonder they said he has disregard for people of faith, even his own it seems.

In 2019, Becerra threatened “legal action” against reporters who had received records of California law enforcement officers who had been convicted of crimes during the past decade.

In December 2020, Becerra was faulted by state district attorneys for not taking leadership to help stop unemployment fraud during the COVID-19 pandemic, in what was described as the “biggest taxpayer fraud in California history”.In January 2021, investigators said the total fraud was over $11 billion, with $19 billion in claims still under investigation. Most of this money will likely never be recovered, prosecutors said.

Like I said, immigrants can be a mixed bunch, both good and bad. He doesn’t seem very good. Fraud and corruption are a major problem in Mexico. Mexico is substantially Roman Catholic it seems.

There is always good and bad in any country, and any religious institution. But Jesus Christ wasn’t interested in religion, only in love. Which as much as anything else is doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God.

Xavier has clearly forgotten this.

10. Marcia Fudge

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development

Studied and Worked in law

Dark skin

has been a member of the Glenville Church of God, and is now a member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church.

In March 2021, during a White House press conference, Fudge made comments on the upcoming Senate election in her home state of Ohio suggesting that Democrats could win it. As a result, she was accused of violating the Hatch Act of 1939. After an investigation, the Office of Special Counsel determined she had violated the Hatch Act. Fudge received a warning.

She has clearly shown a lack of discretion. Still, perhaps it is an easy mistake to make.

In 2015, Fudge wrote a letter asking for leniency in the sentencing of Cleveland politician Lance Mason on felony assault and domestic violence charges.  Fudge described Mason as “kind”, and wrote that “Lance […] has assured me that something like this will never happen again.” Mason subsequently attacked and killed his ex-wife, in 2018, stabbing her 59 times. After the attack, Fudge released a statement saying she condemned the crimes committed by Mason.

Apparently Fudge thought that Lance was kind. Kind of what? It seems he

Mason punched his wife 20 times with his fist, smashed her head against the car’s center console five times, and continued to beat her, bite her, and threaten her after she exited the car.

Now I know wives can be a nuisance as can husbands. What had she done to annoy him I wonder? Was this his idea of justice? He was a county court judge.

he served as Assistant Minority Whip

Perhaps he didn’t have this whip to hand. Still, how on earth could Fudge defend him?? She apparently said

Lance […] has assured me that something like this will never happen again

Well, strictly he didn’t. He murdered his wife instead, stabbing her 59 times.

However, why was he allowed to do this, and why did Fudge not be more discerning? It is one thing to forgive your enemies, but justice matters for those wronged including Mason’s wife.

Maybe it’s in Marcia’s name. She tends to fudge the issue.

11. Pete Buttigieg

Secretary of Transportation

He is a homosexual

Studied history, literature, politics, economics

He is ‘married’ to Chasten James Glezman Buttigieg, a man who was brought up in a conservative Roman Catholic family.

Pete’s

… father was a translator and editor of the three-volume English edition of Marxist philosopher Antonio Gramsci’s Prison Notebooks and influenced his pursuit of literature in college.

So perhaps Pete is a bit Marxist.

I understand Pete and Chasten consider themselves both to be husbands.  Pete and Chasten now have 2 children, twins a boy and a girl.

After conservatives criticized Buttigieg for taking paternity leave,

I gather it is actually called parental leave. I understand they adopted the twins. But is he a father or a mother??? The husband is his partner??? They are both husbands??? I am confused. Perhaps they are confused and this is why they are homosexual. I don’t suppose Marxism helped Pete.

Chasten

shared in his memoir that he was sexually assaulted by a friend of a friend when he was 18.

I don’t suppose that helped Chasten. It was a chastening experience. Rather like ammonium hydroxide, there are other things that can bugger you. Like people. And fallen angels.

Satan has been at work, the nasty little bugger.

As regards Pete taking parental leave

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10101187/Buttigieg-defends-taking-weeks-crisis-warns-supply-chain-crisis-2022.html

There is a photo of them on a hospital bed. So presumably the mother had recently given birth.

Apparently the twins were premature. They are sitting on a hospital bed, so presumably the mother had recently given birth. Why was she not allowed to look after them until they were more fully grown?

I understand Pete took parental leave for 2 months. Why should he take leave if Chasten could look after them? This makes no sense.

Pete has a responsible job and a considerable income. What about the families who don’t have such incomes, eh Pete?

The following comments are from the Daily Mail link earlier.

No one said paternity leave is not work but with the supply chain having been in disarray for months and negatively impacting the entire nation, your priorities do not appear to be in the right place.

FYI: the annual salary for the Transportation Secretary is $221,400.00. That’s $18,450.00 a month. So, this slacker has been paid for two month’s work — $36,900.00 — but not working!

Buttigieg sounds arrogant. He can hire a nanny to take care of his little ones since he is not breast feeding. As Cabinet member he has a big role in US Government.

Not acceptable. If this country were at war this administration would go on vacation. In addition, name one other instance where both parents get 3 months paid maternity leave.

Why would they choose to have children now, knowing he would be taking this incredibly demanding job with the country in such a mess?

Why indeed, at a time when there is supposed to be a crisis over Covid 19? Unless it is not a real crisis perhaps?

I seriously question Pete’s judgement in such a responsible position. Has he considered his responsibilities to the nation as a whole? I don’t think so.

It looks like a self-centred approach, a narcissistic approach. That was Satan’s sin, all about me, not the other. Pete has not considered his service to the nation as a whole. No wonder people are angry.

Pete

Says he is a Christian

said he felt “more-or-less Anglican”

God says he can feel who he likes but it’s his actions that count. Do you love as Jesus loved, that is the question?

12. Jennifer Granholm

Secretary of Energy

Studied and worked in law

She sounds quite reasonable. As proposed Secretary for Energy ‘She was confirmed by the Senate 64–35’.

A decent majority, but not the best. But she still seems a pragmatic woman, so that’s good.

13. Miguel Cardona

Secretary of Education

I believe he is Catholic.

Studied and worked in education

There is not much in his Wikipedia entry. I assume than he is perhaps Mexican by origin. He is married to Marissa Pérez, a family-school liaison. Apparently these assist with mental health concerns.

Perhaps she could help with the idiots on school boards who think masks for children will do any good.

In any event she will have her work cut out dealing with the poor children whose mental health will be badly affected by such stupid edicts.

I would suggest she helps Joe Biden, but I think it is too late for that. His brain is missing, presumed dead. Or MPD for short.

There are a lot of democrats who could do with her help. But they are not at school, so someone else will have to try instead.

Anyway, she has my blessing and may God help her in her work. And her husband too of course.

I found the above site. It looks quite encouraging. If Miguel is Mexican then it just shows good comes from there too. Miguel means Michael, so perhaps I am biased.

14. Denis McDonough

Secretary of Veterans Affairs

From Irish Catholic family

born on December 2, 1969, in Stillwater, Minnesota.

They say that ‘Stillwater’s run deep’.

A Country-man that was to pass a River, sounded it up and down to try where it was most fordable: and upon Trial he made this Observation on’t: Where the Water ran Smooth, he found it Deepest; and on the contrary, Shallowest where it made most Noise. There’s More Danger in a Reserv’d and Silent, than in a Noisy, Babbling Enemy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Still_waters_run_deep

Is he dangerous then? I note he worked for the Markle Foundation. Is this a Markle of the beast!! Or maybe it’s Megan Markle who’s that?

Personally I think she is a bit of a pain, pretty, but a bit of a pain, rather narcissistic. This is the trouble when you come from a broken home. Very sad. Harry, her husband came from a broken home too. Very sad.

the Senate confirmed McDonough as VA Secretary by a 87–7 vote, with six senators absent.

The senators have clearly rated him highly. But is he still dangerous? Can’t see it myself at the moment. Still, he is part of Team Biden and that shows a degree of stupidity. Unless he hopes to limit the damage caused by senile Joe etc.

15. Alejandro Mayorkas

Secretary of Homeland Security

Jewish decent

Studied economics then law in which he practiced

On January 19, 2021, Senator Josh Hawley moved to block the swift confirmation of Mayorkas as the Secretary of Homeland Security, stating that Mayorkas “has not adequately explained how he will enforce federal law and secure the southern border given [then-President-elect] Biden’s promise to roll back major enforcement and security measures”. Hawley was criticized by the Biden transition team.

Josh Hawley is a Jewish Christian. Perhaps the Biden transition Team included Rachel ‘I’m a man pretending to be a woman’ Levine. He is supposed to have transitioned. I don’t suppose the transgender like Jewish Christians.

But that is showing discrimination, so not allowed in law I understand.

16. Michael Regan

Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency

Degree in earth and environmental science.

Dark skin

I can see no obvious concerns, so perhaps he is well suited to the role.

17. Neera Tanden

White House staff secretary – she withdrew from being Director of the Office of Management and Budget. See no.18 below. However, I keep her on the list for reference sake.

Studied law

Indian heritage (sub-continent) as opposed to Joe who is apparently incontinent.

A centrist, reasonably balanced unlike Joe who falls over on airplane steps.

Tanden has been regarded as a Clinton loyalist and personal friend of Hillary Clinton

Senator Bernie Sanders wrote a letter in 2019 accusing Tanden of “maligning my staff and supporters and belittling progressive ideas”.

In 2019, Tanden welcomed the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, accusing him of being “the agent of a proto fascist state, Russia, to undermine democracy.

I am not sure Julian Assange is the agent of Russia, so I question her judgement. Perhaps that is why she withdrew from being Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

18. Shalanda Young

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shalanda_Young

Dark skin

Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget

A Master of Health Administration

She is Acting Director. There is a lot of acting going on at the moment, a pantomime as I explain later.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shalanda_Young

“Everybody who deals with you on our side has nothing but good things to say.”

That’s good news.

GOP Senators voicing concerns over her support of removing the Hyde amendment from the federal budget.

That’s not so good news. Mind you there’s a lot of money spent at federal level on other things which are not good news. Like weapons. This helps those who like wars though. And money.

The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil as I keep repeating. Boring but true.

That’s all for now, part 3 and final part in link below my logo.

P.S. And here it is. Team Biden Unwrapped Part 3 (final)

Baldmichael Theresoluteprotector'sson. When not posting pages or paging posties, trying to be a good husband, and getting over a long term health issue, I am putting the world to rights. I have nothing better to do, so why not? But of course that includes dancing, being funny (in more than one sense), poking fun at life, poking fun at myself, deflating the pompous, reflating the sad. Seeking to heal the whole of the soul (and body where possible). In short making life as good as it possibly can be for others as well as myself. You can't say fairer than that. But if you can, please say. People need to know.
