The Devil is in the detail – why do we say this?

By Baldmichael Theresoluteprotector’sson

Well, ‘detail’ is an anagram of ‘tailed’ and in images the Devil is shown to have a tail! And ‘detail’ can be ‘de tail’ as in ‘the tail’.

Of course in the book of Revelation it says of the great red dragon, identified as the Devil, that “His tail swept a third of the stars from the sky, tossing them to the earth.” Revelation 12 v.4a.

It is descriptive language but what does it mean? Well, the book of Revelation says 7 times “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” to each of the seven churches and once is says “He who has an ear, let him hear” in Revelation 13 v.9 after the passage referred to above.

So what does ‘tail’ sound like? If you think of a similar word you should come up with ‘tale’, i.e. a story. In the case of the Devil this is what we might call a ‘tall story’, today it might be fake news, in essence a pack of lies.

However, one must remember that the Devil always uses some truth to promote a lie so that what he says sounds okay to those who don’t double check.

This was the problem in the Garden of Eden when the serpent tempted Eve and she did not check with Adam before she ‘ate’ the fruit, and Adam did not check with the Lord God before he also ‘ate’ the fruit.

As a consequence Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden, their relationship with the Lord God died and eventually their bodies died.

So the Devil lied and Adam and Eve died. They believed the ‘tale’ of the serpent. As Jesus said of the Devil, he was a murderer from the beginning and father of lies.

Nowadays we might say for example that people followed the lockdown so-called rules without checking what was actually written down. As I keep saying, in the UK it was always guidance as per gov.uk and you didn’t need to do any of it.

People did not check what was in the ingredients of the vaccines and took them regardless for various reasons, such as:

‘I thought it was the right thing to do’ (it wasn’t, being poisoned is never right),

‘My employer insisted’ (it had no right to),

‘Vaccines have been successful against other diseases’ (they never were, it just was made to appear this way), etc. etc.

So the government and mainstream media etc. lied and people died. People believed the ‘tale’ being spun, the web of lies.

As regards the ‘stars’ who fell from the sky or heaven, these are angels. It is interesting to note that a third fell. I have said in my post on angels that these are represented by the obtuse angles in mathematics. See this link for further explanation.

One should note that in today’s world the ‘stars’ are celebrities, the so-called bright or shiny ones. So many of them fell for the lies or were persuaded to lie for the authorities regarding COVID 19.

We are not told exactly what the Devil told the angels but his tail, in reality his ‘tale’, was to deceive them into believing his lies. Ultimately this tale was that he is the one who should be in charge, not God the heaven Fatherly of us all.

The Devil wants to be in charge and he likes pyramid organisations with him at the top presiding in arrogance and pride. His minions act like him and so we have Pride parades, even Pride month.

But God the heaven Fatherly is not like that although that’s what the Devil would have us believe. He is like Jesus and when Jesus came to this world He came as a suffering servant; unlike the Devil whom we also call Satan who is an insufferable serpent!

So that is why the Devil is in the detail, the Devil is in the tale!

Look out for the sign of Baldmichael, he will be back!

P.S. Here is the link on angels again if you are interested.

And this is an interesting take on what the Devil told the angels that fell with him.

Baldmichael Theresoluteprotector'sson. When not posting pages or paging posties, trying to be a good husband, and getting over a long term health issue, I am putting the world to rights. I have nothing better to do, so why not? But of course that includes dancing, being funny (in more than one sense), poking fun at life, poking fun at myself, deflating the pompous, reflating the sad. Seeking to heal the whole of the soul (and body where possible). In short making life as good as it possibly can be for others as well as myself. You can't say fairer than that. But if you can, please say. People need to know.
