Unless you are from the States you probably won’t have heard of this guy. In fact, unless you are from Illinois, the vast majority of us won’t have heard of this guy. He is the governor of Illinois.
You may not think Illinois has much to do with the rest of the world. But you would be wrong as you will see. This is recommended reading for everybody concerned about the chaos in the world. It is a large article as Jay Pritzker, or J.B. as he can be known, is rather large.
And his family have a lot of fingers in lot of pies. I hope not literally like that shot in Naked Gun were the villain eats a hot dog with a finger in it from the baddy that fell into the poison at the meat processing factory.
Anyway, being a clever sort of chap (eh hem), I did know a bit about him. Okay, a very small bit. To be honest, I wasn’t too keen on him. Anyhow, I mentioned him in passing in my post S is for….. States of the U.S.A. See link at end.
Someone from Chicago asked if I would do a post as Chicago is particularly affected by his, Pritzker’s, brand of stupidity. Still what do you expect, he is a Democrat and they are not usually that bright.
Bright enough to be corrupt though.
Anyway, I could not pass up the request. I did actually mention I would be happy to do it in the first place mind you, so it is my fault. But I don’t mind, it is my pleasure to rescue those in distress. Once you have read this, I can recommend providing support to those in this state; they are in dire need.

Early life, family, and education

With a net worth of $3.6 billion, Pritzker is the richest politician in the U.S.
He is one of 11 billionaires in the Pritzker family.
He has an older sister called Penny. She is also a billionaire. She looks pretty to me. So worth a pretty penny then.
Pritzker was born and raised in Atherton, California. Nick Clegg, former Deputy Prime Minister, lives there now. So a place to avoid then.
He is Jewish with a German sounding name. Oh dear. However, apparently the link is the Ukraine, not Germany. Whether that makes much difference, I don’t know.
As you will see, he appears to be Jewish in name only and not in the heart. A common problem.
It is alleged he invented the Pritz Shtick, a type of comic routine. Also called taking the piss out of Illinois, or its money, or both. These are only rumours of course.
He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. As he is Jewish and bar means ‘son of’ this makes sense. Some have said he is also a member of the Illinois Bar Stewards and the Chicago Bar Stewards.
Some have said this makes him a complete Bar Steward.
He attended Massachusetts boarding school Milton Academy. Apparently it is a highly selective school, accepting only 14% of applicants in the 2020–21 school year. Perhaps when he went there they weren’t that fussy.
It seems the school is highly athletic. Perhaps when he went there they weren’t that athletic. Or not that fussy.
I see there have been issues of sexual misconduct by former employees which seem to have occurred when would have been at the school. Sadly this sort of thing happened all too often at boarding school.
Perhaps Jay got buggered when there. This would explain matters now, as he buggers up Illinois and Chicago. A sort of revenge on the world around him.

Perhaps what he gets up to is fishy, suspect, so he stinks anyway, and can’t tell that Joe stinks also.

By the way, I understand Joe is vice president. Or president of vice. I may have something wrong there.
Joe’s jacket doesn’t fit all that well. Can’t he afford a proper tailor? Jay’s jacket fits better. He is Jewish. Jews have been good tailors. This makes sense. Jay has more money than Joe. Jay can afford the best. Perhaps Joe could ask Jay for some advice or some money. Or both.
Jay has plenty of money and a large tummy. He needs his jacket to fit well so his tummy doesn’t show too much.
Jay has his left hand in his pocket and his right hand out of his pocket. Presumably the left hand does not know what his right hand is doing. Jesus mentioned something about this.
Perhaps not knowing what the other hand is doing is good for business. And not letting the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) knowing what money you actually have is good for your personal fortune.
Tenure
2019–2020 fiscal year
The Governor’s office had expected a $150 million surplus which it planned to use to pay down the state’s $6 billion backlog of unpaid bills.
So $150 million eh? About 1/40th of the debt. And who exactly is unpaid? Anybody know? I am struggling.
Will a balanced budget ever be achievable? It is rumoured that the budget is over balanced and in debt due to J.B.’s tummy. His tummy is over large and so is the debt. They must be linked somehow.
Perhaps he should do more exercise. Or do some philanthropic spending with the money in his family fortune to help pay the debt.
Or pay taxes honestly that he owes. That sort of thing. How about it, J.B.?
Abortion legislation
He has signed into law a bill which basically makes abortion easier and doctors less likely to be penalised for doing them.
Sadly this law was not around when Jay was in the womb, as this might have made the good people of Chicago’s lives a lot easier.
However, I personally think abortion an abomination. The USA needs a bomb in the nation to wake it up to the mass murder of the innocent unborn.
Jay needs a bomb up the backside. It would make an awful mess, but some people would be glad. Some people are happy to clear up piles of shit for a good cause.
Child welfare and education
They are increasing spending but where’s the money coming from?
Budget cuts and ballooning costs have been driving Illinois residents out of state.
So how do they expect taxes to pay for such things? Again, Jay’s ballooning physique may be related to ballooning costs.
His ballooning wealth may be related to ballooning costs.
Climate change
He joined the U.S. Climate Alliance which was made after President Trump withdrew the United States from the Paris Climate Accord.

Now Baldmichael did maths at school. He can use a calculator too. Unlike Ben Zigterman who wrote the article. There are 50 states in the USA Ben. 18 divided by 50 is ….? I can wait…36% that’s right well done! That is not the same as 43%.
If you have a look at the following link below, Ben, you will see that is appears only 14 States are part of the alliance. Perhaps four others have made some sort of vague promise, instead of a firm promise. Whether they keep to their promises is debatable. As twelve of the states are democrat run this seems unlikely.
But it might be more reasonable to say that 14 states only are working toward Paris goals. 14 divided by 50 is….? I can wait…28% that’s right, well done! That is also not the same as 43%.
Of course not everybody in the states that pledged to work towards Paris goals may agree with working towards Paris goals.
Those in the states which didn’t agree to working towards Paris goals might have many who want to work towards Paris goals. We just don’t know for sure.
In other words, your statement is a load of crap. I believe you are probably Jewish with German origins, correct me if I am wrong. However, this would explain matters if you are.
Prior the founding of the alliance, 12 states led by Democratic governors signed a petition urging the president of the United States to stay in the Paris Agreement on May 3. A similar petition was signed by 2 states led by Republican governors on May 17.

All of which shows that Pritzker likes gambling. He likes gambling with taxpayers money too. Gambling doesn’t work very well for those who gamble their money. Especially for taxpayers who get no say in the matter.
Restricting certain betting organisations can help people make more money by supressing the completion. It helps to be governor of Illinois when you own casinos etc, such as in Las Vagas.

The Satanists have an ugly baby in a manger. They are wearing masks. There are Catholics praying the rosary. They generally don’t have masks.
There are some people wearing odd clothes. I gather these are called vestments, so they are in vestments. These should not be confused with investments which J.B. loves.
Now the heavenly Father like clothes for dressing up as in amateur dramatics. And He likes roses, especially if they have a scent. This is because they are heaven sent. He does not see the point in roses if they do not have a scent. He did not make unscented roses.

Gun control

Health care
In 2019, Pritzker approved of a tax on private insurance that will go into the state’s Medicaid program.
It has been alleged the money will then go into his pockets eventually, but that is merely a rumour of course. Unless someone has evidence to the contrary, of course.
It seems someone has.
COVID-19 pandemic
On March 9, 2020, Pritzker issued a state disaster proclamation.

On March 16, 2020, Pritzker issued an executive order limiting permitted crowd sizes to fifty people. Despite pressure from Chicago election officials, Pritzker refused to postpone the state’s March 17 primary elections, since it was not something that he had the authority to do.
Seems sensible not to postpone elections. When crowd sizes are small you can’t tell which of the candidates is more popular. This may have befitted J.B. Do crowd restrictions allow for people like Pritzer who would account for two normal people like me (eh hem)?
In a interview on CNN’s State of the Union on March 22, Pritzker compared the federal government’s procurement of essential medical supplies to the “Wild West”.
Elfreda anagram of federal this explains it. Elfreda means elf strength or perhaps health strength. De feral ‘of wild’ anagram too. De can represent Germany as in Deutschland. Germany is wild. Seems reasonable. There are a lot of people with Germanic backgrounds in the USA.
On March 23, Pritzker announced that restrictions on early prison inmate release for good behavior would be relaxed. The original rule required a minimum 14-day notification to the State Attorney’s office for early release. This order was made in order to lower the population in Illinois prisons which are exceptionally vulnerable to the coronavirus due to limited space and close quarters.
And to make sure there would be space for all those naughty people, you know, those coming within 6 foot of someone else, not wearing a mask when it was pointless, refusing a vaccine when it is dangerous to have them, that sort of thing.
And to frighten the public into thinking of all those nice murderers out on the streets during the daytime, let alone at night. Better stay at home then. They did this too in the UK funnily enough. Mmm…
On April 23, Pritzker extended the stay-at-home order through May 29 with some modifications. Churches were prohibited from holding meetings that had more than 10 people in attendance. Some churches defied Pritzker, held meetings and then filed federal lawsuits.

On May 1, Pritzker enacted a state-wide mask mandate.
This must have been a ginormous mask to cover the whole state. Pritzer is rather large and might need a bigger mask than most but really…
On May 21, Pritzker announced additional guidelines for Phase Three of the state’s reopening plan. These guidelines included that restaurants will be able to offer limited outdoor seating, campgrounds and state parks will be permitted to reopen, and golfers would be allowed to play in groups of up to four. Other outdoor recreational activities such as paintball will be permitted to resume operations.
As regards golfers the limitation is reasonable but golfers frequently only play up to four anyway. You can sometimes hear them say ‘four!’ after they hit their balls in an odd direction. I can sympathise; I would shout something pithier than that if I hit my balls.
On July 29, Pritzker announced that everyone who enters a state building is required to wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status.
On August 5, Pritzker announced that face masks must be worn at all times while inside P-12 schools, daycares, and long-term care facilities regardless of vaccination status.
So not so much benefit in being vaccinated then. You still have to wear a mask in certain circumstances. As vaccines are, if anything at all, poisons, there is in fact no benefit all. Just like mask wearing (unless Joe Biden or J.B. are nearby or the pollution is bad etc. etc.).
On August 26, Pritzker announced that a statewide indoor mask mandate would be reimposed in order to handle the surge caused by the Delta variant beginning on August 30. Pritzker also announced a vaccine mandate for all education employees for P-12 and higher education statewide. Pritzker also announced a vaccine mandate for all higher education students and healthcare workers. Pritzker announced that anyone who does not get a COVID-19 vaccine by September 5 will have to do weekly COVID testing.
That’s nice. Doesn’t matter whether you are vaccinated or not, still have to wear masks. Vaccines can’t be much good then. Why did you bother? Hint: being told you had too is not a good answer.
If you are not vaccinated then you have to be tested weekly. I understand the tests are not reliable, or necessarily always available. So that’s not much good then. As my father might say, the whole things a bloody shambles.

Immigration
Apparently Pritzker supports Syrian refugees. But not personally I believe. I gather he has a spare house where some could go – see later. However, he has had the toilets removed, so that’s a bit of a bummer. Where could the refugees put their bums?
Still, I suppose they may be grateful for any accommodation they can get, and there is always the garden.
In winter perhaps Jay could let them use his own house’s toilets. His house is next door.
The Syrian refugees will be able to replace all the people that have been moving out of Illinois due to the poor economic prospects.
Whether Jay has anything to do with that I don’t know. Any thoughts?
Why is it taking so long? Well, it’s simple. J.B. Pritzer is a pile of shit, and without a toilet there is nowhere to flush him.

Infrastructure
I see that money is to be made available for mass transit.
As Pritzer is rather mass-ive, it is vital to have more money out of the taxpayers to help move his bulk around. Or the bulk of his fortune around. Perhaps both.
Labor
I cover minimum wage issue later.
Pritzker signed the House 2028 bill, which passed both the Senate and House of Illinois unanimously. This bill doubles the compensation rate for families of officers of the law and firefighters killed in the line of duty from $10,000 to $20,000.
That will help as numbers killed increase. This will further indebt Illinois.
177 members of the Illinois legislature will receive $1,600 each in cost-of-living increases.
That’s nice. How about those who could benefit from help like the poorest? I doubt the members of the legislature are that poor.
Pritzker refused to take on the City of Chicago’s pension liabilities, believing that it would jeopardize the state’s credit rating. Moody’s raised it to one level above “junk” after the state passed a balanced budget in 2019. Pritzker did not reject the possibility of allowing Chicago to pool its pension funds with other parts of the state, however, and created a task force looking for ways to tackle the ballooning pension debts of municipalities across the state.

Marijuana
On December 31, 2019, Pritzker pardoned approximately 11,000 individuals for low-level marijuana convictions.
The individuals were at 1st floor level rather than several stories up.
Look, in the States they start their floors at level 1, rather than ground Floor as we do in the UK. But that’s the Americans for you. I really am quite clever you know (eh hem).

He has raised the age of buying cigarettes to 21. And raised the sales tax. But fewer people are smoking
Given that marijuana is available on the streets perhaps more people will buy this instead.
This will help no end I’ve no doubt. Help gun crime, theft, inability to work properly, poverty etc. etc. that is.
Perhaps J.B. has connections to the drug cartels? He no doubt owns shares in big pharma; many people do via pension funds etc.
Abortion
During the 2018 gubernatorial Democratic primaries, Planned Parenthood supported Pritzker
I wonder how many people it took to support him as he is rather large. Any thoughts? See also earlier comments under ‘Abortion legislation’.
Minimum Wage
This is not a small wage for a small mother, a mini mum, but the lowest wage an employer should be paying a certain group of workers. These may well be mothers and small mothers at that.
Pritzker campaigned on raising the minimum wage in Illinois to $15 an hour.

Apparently he signed in legislation in 2019 to that effect. And the increases are being introduced whether this actually makes any difference to people remains to be seen. Especially if the business you worked for has gone bust anyway.

Net neutrality
Pritzker is a supporter of net neutrality, and has stated on his gubernatorial campaign website: “As governor, I will ensure that all internet traffic is treated equally, so that everyone can continue to use the internet to grow their businesses, further their education, and enjoy the freedom of expression.”
This is good news. Although as I indicated above, this may be problematic if your business has gone bust and you are bankrupt.
Nevertheless you can say what you like about J.B. Pritzker but….no, let’s just say you can say what you like about J.B. Pritzker. Good or bad.
Philanthropy
The Better Government Association, an Illinois watchdog, has criticized Pritzker’s charitable giving practices, saying he funneled the funds he gave to charity from offshore tax havens. “The result is that Pritzker’s philanthropy, and any accolades that go with it, have been bankrolled with what is essentially found money. He did little to earn the proceeds and paid no taxes on the bulk of it before giving it away”, the BGA article states.
It is my observation the wealthy often like the accolades and pretend to be giving away money at personal sacrifice to themselves. ‘Look how wonderful I am. I trod on top of you to get to the top of the pile, and now I am giving some of the hard earned wealth I stole took borrowed from you,’
Jesus mentioned something about that regarding the widow’s mite story.

I’d like to know the reasons for Pritzker’s glaring omissions during his Sunday sermon, because the silence is deafening and, at this point in American history, dangerous. To paraphrase a tweet I saw last year: Authoritarianism in the workplace is making it easier to accept authoritarianism in civic life.
There is a lot of dangerous wind in Illinois. How much comes out of J.B. is debatable. Farts can be silent but deadly. Discuss.

Pritzker is flush with money so why did he do it anyway? His home was hardly bog standard. I guess this all reflects the fact that the cistern (sic) is utterly corrupt.

I gather State elections for governor are coming up this year on November 8th.
